Girls, Would it be weird to wait for her?

A girl caught my eye in the metro, we made eye contact and she seemed friendly, but i was too shy to walk up to her. I know where she took off, would it be creepy if i waited there at the same time on some other day? How would you react?

That is definitely creepy and in general, girls don't like to be stalked, because that is exactly what it is. Spying on a person is not only creepy but could potentially also be seen as a reprehensible activity.

If this girls realizes that you are stalking her, you may waste your chance to talk to her because she will see you as someone that could be dangerous to her.

Also, it is not because a girl makes eye contact for once that she is into you. That is totally normal. I do eye contact with a lot of people day in a day out just because I do assess those people for a second to see whether I either know them or if they could represent a danger to me.

Probably don’t wait for her because it may seem like you were stalking her. Maybe she also noticed you too and couldn’t gather the courage to talk to you. Instead find her when she’s in the metro and go up to her and just engage in small talk. Although since you said you were shy I sincerely hope that you will gather enough courage to actually have a conversation with her. After a week or so of talking ask for her number and if she says no then she’s not interested. If all goes well and she gives you her real number then you will most likely be in a relationship! Kudos to you if you achieve that and remember you never know unless you try!
