I dont think i have a solid answer. I've been with a couple nice guys and i liked them but something was just always missing. My current boyfriend i can say isn't one of them. He can be toxic at times, but somehow im drawn to him like I've never been with anyone else. He gave me that feeling i was missing with the (nice) guys before him. I dont think its because he’s not one of the nice guys, he has the qualities i want in a guy, but he just happens to be toxic. If he changed all the toxic things about him I’d love him even more. So i think its just coincidence that he’s “toxic” and not a conscious decision i made.

cause theyre really good at manipulating people
they just say all the right things for a few months
they target people who they know have issues
and they give so much
that when they start taking everything, you feel like it's okay
and it only gets worse
and you feel dependent on him, regardless of how much he's hurting you now

its not because girls are seeking out horrible guys and skipping nice guys, it's cause I think these toxic guys are nice
So according to you the toxic guys are saying the right thing and the nice guys are saying the wrong thing. So that's seem like girls are choosing the toxic guy because that's what they prefer.

Because they over look red flags in a guy
But a lot of girls break up with men or reject them because they see red flags, like if he's too needy or he doesn't make a move, girls just have broken red flag Radar.
some girls just try to justify his red flags or overlook them with green flags 🤷♀️
In other words they end up with toxic guys because that's what they like
