Why are females addicted to TV?

It's like TV is their whole life. They watch TV all day and night, even past midnight without consideration of others sleeping. They even have the volume nearly up at night.

First of all it's women, not females. You use the term females when you're writing a scientific paper about fruit flies or something. I don't mind being called a girl, but "females" is offensive.

Second, I hardly ever watch TV, and I don't really know anyone who does. I'll turn on Netflix sometimes late at night but I'm asleep in 10 minutes and I haven't really seen anything.
