I'm tall, but I can guarantee you many short guys can kick my ass 😂. A lot of fights end quickly, but if not, then a lot could go wrong:

- If just throwing jabs, then I could break my hand or eventually get knocked out, which can mean my head hitting concrete.

- I'm skinny, so going to the ground is a very bad idea, since they likely weigh more than me and are stronger. Hell, I could hit my head badly on the ground while getting slammed.

I know the post is a troll, but just emphasizing on the idea for anyone to hear that there's always someone out there that can easily humble you real quick.

Tall men have a weakness in their legs which shorter men can use to their advantage. Blows to the kneecaps and legs can leave a tall guy staggered. Also the heavier they are, the harder they fall. Bigger Tall men are more likely to be very slow, ironic isn't it. Look at all the men in martial arts. The ones that excel it are not tall. The ones that created the sport itself are shorter Asian men so yeah

The 5'9 guy can win by himself.. it depends on both their fighting skills (technicue, strenght, motions) etc. I'd say its pretty toxic to think tall men are automatically better fighters than avarage heighted/shorter man just because of height alone.

It doesn´t depend on a guy´s height but on his strength and agility. A shorter guy can take down a taller guy in a fight if he has a good fight plan. Just because a guy is tall, he´s not necessarily strong. I would say two small guys can be enough to take a tall guy down.

One, if he knows what he's doing. One 5'5" guy who knows how to fight would easily take on a 6'6" guy who doesn't. One of the best street fighters I've even known was about that height. He's in his 70s now and I'm willing to bet he could still take on the vast majority of guys out there.

After studying martial arts for a decade, I have learned this. Winning a fight is not all about size. Tall men have an advantage in reach, but if he's facing a short guy with more training, reach may not be enough.

It depends on the little guy. I just met a guy at the gym that is 5 foot five and he is really ripped. He is probably over compensating but I imagine he would beat me in a fair fight

That's a silly question. If that "short man" was Mike Tyson 5'10" he'd beat all the tall guys asses. I mean he beat Michael Spinks and Larry holmes who were 6'2" and 6'3" respectively. And he knocked out Spinks in only 91 seconds. This is one of the reason he earned the nickname "Kid Dynamite".
