Let’s say the guy was kind, took you out and spent $200 for dinner, everything checks off but in your mind you want to end things after the first date. How likely is that to happen?

I would reject a guy for being too close minded, for making disrespectful or insensitive remarks, for having the wrong priorities in dating or friendship, for being dismissive of important considerations people have, for vilifying blameless people, for being too sexual, for promoting racist political candidates, for expressing jealousy towards honourable people, for being excessively pessimistic when they discuss different demographics, or for expressing too much anger or hate or insecurity or money obsession while speaking.

-Girl is just self sabotages (guilty) I sometimes just end stuff before it gets good. Maybe not used to nice guys.

-Doesn’t like your personality.

-You were too pushy about affection or sex after the date.

-Wanted a free meal.

She definitely doesn’t want a free meal, she actually said we don’t need to go to a fancy restaurant, she said she’s good with a simple burger spot, Im not pushy or after her for sex. She laughs at my jobs and witty behaviour, but it’s the first thing you said is she sees a nice guy and pushes me away which I’m kinda fearful of.

Also, sometimes there's just not a connection. Sometimes I just don't like a person. That's enough reason not to want to continue.

If everything went great it's unlikely that I would end it after the first date. Something had to have gone wrong, a major red flag revealed or we didn't get along etc.

Well that’s the point. Not to be cheap but we are heading into a recession which even politicians and economists are warning about. As a guy, a girl has to be extremely special in my heart to do spend such a thing. I don’t know why women get triggered if a guy spends a lot and she’s like “yea so?” That’s why I think something nice but not overly expensive. When it comes to money everyone has to be cautious how much they spend especially for others. You provided an answer where there is a pre-conceived notion it may not work, unless the guy is rude and horny and gives bad vibes that’s different, but I think every girl should tell a guy don’t spend beyond this because if it doesn’t work out after the first date I don’t know want you to spend that kind of money on me. Problem is, if yea there guys who do it looking for sex and there are girls/women out there who agreed to be pampered and move on to the next. Even if a girl I dated was a billionaire, I wouldn’t expect her to buy a $500 meal for me.

I work two jobs so it’s not a big deal to spend money like that for dinner here and there not all the time, I’d only do it for someone special.
