Dang dude, that's super annoying. A few things could be going on:
- She's had a crush on you forever since you were little. People can cling to that kinda stuff.
- She probably feels like you've known each other so long that you MUST be close. Even if you don't see it that way.
- Girls can get kinda obsessed or intense sometimes. Maybe she sees you as a potential boyfriend and won't let it go.
- Leaving you alone would mean admitting defeat, and some people just won't do that.
Look man, you gotta be straight with her. Next time she bugs you, just tell her you're not interested in being anything more than old classmates. You don't want a relationship. Make it clear you don't want contact outside of what's necessary at school.
Be firm but not mean about it. She'll either get the message or keep harassing you. If that doesn't work, get some distance and don't engage when you can avoid it. Hopefully she backs off eventually, but you did all you can. Don't stress too much, it'll blow over soon!
If you’re not openly cruel to her, she’s not going to get the message
She's obviously infatuated with you, so just tell her off and do it in an embarrassing way.
