this is funny because when a guy broke up with me, i stayed friends on facebook, i never posted anything and it bugged him. i didn't think ill delete or keep i just stopped contacting him as i had no reason to. sometimes too much is read into something

This girl told me we’re just acquaintances now, she really got angry over a small incident for the last 12 hours we’ve been talking trying to work out out but she’s like nah I made up my mind. I thought it was fairly stubborn on her end but whatever. I asked her why she still has my # and follows me on social media.

Honestly, it's for lazy reasons.
For one it's not a really big deal to some to singlehandedly find you and block you. once the emotion has been blocked. No need to waste energy on deleting that person.
Two, sometimes it’s just interesting to see how shit has changed. Doesn’t mean their lingering feelings or reminisce emotions all the time. Just curiosity of how the timeline changes for other people.
Three, it’ll eventually happen that the person will be deleted just isn’t the number one priority.
