no mater how angry you get never hit a women do you agree on this. just a saying. why

No, I disagree, you are allowed to defend yourself if attacked by a woman but you have to use only as much force as necessary to stop the attack.

Women think they can attack anyone with impunity, and I've worked security jobs where stopping violent drunken women were part of the job, whether it be smothering an attack to using pain compliance to break up the attack, but I've had the odd one where I've literally had to fight a woman, Women do not know how strong men are until they attack a man, men have been brought up learning how to control their strength through rough house play.

Any male who hits a woman or anyone else for that matter in a fit of anger is not a man and never learned the self control he should have as a child, and these males usual come from a home with a single mother and no male role model present to pass on the life skills that he should have gotten from his father that no mother can teach a male child.

You should NEVER strike a woman  FIRST!--- but, that said: You are NOT a 'punching bag'. As a retired peace officer, the law states you MAY defend yourself using  NO greater force than minimally required to deter/stop YOU being assaulted or to allow YOU to leave the confrontation.  
 
 The test of the LAW is/will be: "Was YOUR response that of 'a prudent & reasonable' person?" Being 'in heat of the moment' is NOT a legal defense! ~

I put yes because in most situations I do not think a man should ever hit a woman even if she hits him. Men are a lot stronger than women are and the man will do a lot more damage to a woman than the woman would ever do to the man. That said if it is an extreme situation and there is no other option, then yes it is okay to strike her. Like for example she has a weapon or there truly is no other choice

Never hit a woman. I asked this question when I first joined this site and got attacked for it. I was amazed at the number of guys that said they had no problem belting her one. I even had a girl call me a simp and say I was what was wrong with guys today. Go figure

Nope i don't agree with it because some women turns violent and would try to lay hand on you, so when starts physical abuse, how can you defend yourself? Words do not protect you from physical abuse...

No women ever dares to or think about laying a hand on me because any woman who knows me is aware that i don't follow such rule and if she tries her luck by initiating a physical abuse towards me, she might get seriously hurt, when someone turns physical with me, i become very dangerous and might regret it later but i can't stop it, that's why i try my best to avoid such situations...

my rationale is that the reason you hit a person should be the same for both genders. it's an act of last resort primarily for self defense or the protection of someone else.

You should never hit anyone who isn't either causing you harm, or threatening to. If a person harms you first, or puts you in a situation where you have to fight them to avoid being harmed, then you can defend yourself.

That is just stupid. Gender has nothing to do with it. If someone needs a punch and you can deliver then punch them. Simple as that. Man, woman, child, silvertop, disabled, whatever. Their self-preservation is their business, not yours, and if they go aggroing above their level then the consequences are theirs to suffer... and vice versa. There is nothing quite so disgusting as someone who goes around verbally picking fights because they believe they're impervious to accountability.
