What does it mean if a girl doesn’t really answer texts too much but acknowledges you in person?

So I just started as a nurse during the night and I met this other night nurse at orientation, we are both in our early 20’s and fresh out of school. I suggested that I take her number down because we both work at night and she was ready to take my phone to put it in at lunch. I did because she was carrying too much. She even suggested that I sit and eat with her and the others because I was going to find somewhere to chill around the hospital. She made sure she saved the number. I didn’t text for a couple of days and she liked the text message I sent to confirm my name when I got her number. It’s been 3 days and it was randomly in the evening. I texted her to see how she was because I thought that’s why she did it. And we shot maybe 2-3 texts back and I told her how my day was and no response. I worked and got in tune with my job and forgot about it and I saw her at a skills event and I could see her from the corner of my eye, eyeing me but I just minded my business. She then came to the skills table I was watching and ran her hand across the back of my tricep and greeted me. We went to different stations and talked somewhat and I asked if she had an instagram. She said yeah but was too busy trying to finish to realize what I was asking. I left and texted her that I asked because I wanted to ask to add her on instagram and she didn’t respond. What do y'all think. I respect your opinions 🙂

Sounds like she’s not interested. Whether it’s a man or woman they will make every effort to talk to you, run into you by mistake, visit you every chance they can if they’re really into you. Plus she’s much younger, so the fact that she has IG says to me that she utilizes these things more than someone who may be much older. So the fact that she’s really not responding tells me she’s not really interested. Maybe I’m wrong.
