What does it mean when a girl barely texts you but is very sociable when face-to-face?

Basically the title. I’ve been talking to this girl but she barely ever texts me, even though she has my number and Snapchat. I’ve told friends about the situation, both girls and boys, and they all agree she probably has feelings for me. Whenever we are at social gatherings, filling with her close friends, she barely leaves my side. She also expresses all of the known things girls do when they’re into a guy. What does this mean?

I keep thinking this, but for as long as I can remember I have always initiated the conversation. In fact, the last time I can remember her starting the conversation was probably around a month ago. Since then, we have just been texting. Does she change the conversation mid-way? Sure. But is that the same as initiating the conversation out of no where? Absolutely not.

Trust me when I say this woman gives the most confusing hints of all time. Sometimes she wants to marry me, the others she straight up ignores me. For example, she's made plans with me and never went through with them. Not the: "Oh, yeah. We should hang out sometime," but the: "Will you do this with me? Actually? Will you actually do this with me? I won't forget you said you'll do that with me." If my example is very specific, it's because it is. This is exactly what happened. We FaceTimed for a couple of hours and had a great conversation. She also apparently needed to state that: "When we were at the coffee place, I was actually laughing at your jokes." Then the total radio silence happened two days later.

Sorry for ranting a bit. This has been heavy on my mind because I genuinely care about this girl. She's definitely very special to me. If you need any more additional information, just let me know. I will be more than happy to help.
