It really depends on how you define the participants in the game. If you take the situation of ALL males that have ever been born, then no--you actually have it a LOT better than males of your grandfather's generation. Because an inordinate number of those males would've been fed into the abattoir of war or into physically dangerous jobs that culled the number of men down to a much smaller number.

However, if you're only counting men to survived to reproductive age, then you may have a point in that there is more competition today because (in the developed, non-shithole parts of the world anyway) there is no culling mechanism so more men survive to compete for women. Moreover, today men CAN live much, MUCH longer and they can screw much longer as well thanks to modern medicine. So that means at any given point in time you have FAR more males (non culled younger men all the way up to financially successful and Viagara-ed 80-year olds) competing for the desirable women in the world. So in that sense, it's a tougher go for some guys.

Lastly, technology (mostly Tinder and the like) has moved the dating pool from a series of segmented markets (you can only date girls in your social circle) to a GIANT global market (Drake can slide into literally ANY girl's DMs on Instagram). So that creates more competition.

In short the situation really depends on who you are: for some there is more opportunity than ever before. For others more competition than ever before. There is no use bitching about it though--it is what it is. All you can do is play the game as best you can.

I do not know if Hoeflation is real or not. Like I am not even sure if that is a real thing.

Now this is my experience with modern women. Like they do have an inflated sense of self-worth. Don't you wish we lived in world were a woman had to really put in some work, in order for you to feel they dissevered to have sex with you.

I don't know about 20X but, yeah I think it's kinda real.. A lot of women today let online cause inflation to their egos.. For the average woman, we seem to have to work a bit harder.. Although, Gen Z and maybe even some millennials seem to be having less sex all around today than in the past.. So, I think it's a complicated situation..

Nope. Back then, divorced women and women who weren't married struggled to get a job and were discriminated against. They had no choice but to marry whatever guy came their way.

Now that women don't need a man to support her financially, that exposed the shitty men who are good for nothing and expect their girlfriends to do everything for them. That's all that happens. And the guys that are complaining about it are usually lazy bums who want state-mandated girlfriends.
