Women, what makes you decide if a man is worthy of having his children carried by you?

that’s not how it felt for me. i don’t know if women do a mental appraisal like you’re alluding to and ask themselves is this guy worthy of me carrying his children?

when i fell so hard for someone i couldn’t wait to be a family with him and have his child and share a life with him. all kinds of affection precede the thought of having a child with someone. at least they do for me

i’m not discrediting the women who have separated partner and offspring and just need a man to help father a child. perhaps there’s nothing wrong with that but that’s not been an experience i had

Did you view childbearing as a burden?

yes, mostly. it messes up the body, it’s so much physical labor, and so much work after child is born as well.

but when you yearn for it during a relationship with the right person, all that logical stuff goes away

i haven’t been pregnant. Been in a relationship where i wanted to but it didn’t come through

I have a one year old with my partner and pregnant again (21 weeks) I knew I wanted him to father my children because I cannot see my life without him in it and I'm literally at that point now where I feel like if something did happen with us I'd never want to be in another relationship I'd be happy just parenting my children. I've never been that much in love with a guy before and he is a absolute amazing dad.
