What do they mean when they say girls mature faster than guys?

Unfortunately your always going to find a girl much smarter than you and there are some guys smarter than me, just the way the world is. However if you take the time to look it up you will find as a general rule girls will mature (including the mind) faster than guys and that is just nature working.

I'll why say girl mature faster than men does make sense, and I'll do it with Logic.

When they say girls mature faster than men, they're using the metric of emotionally and good in school.

The reason why you can't compare the two is because by nature girls are more timid and less risk averse. So that's basically like saying a monkey is more mature than an elephant because it can climb a tree better. If you're biological, urge is to be submissive and rely on a man. There is no need for you to take risk. Men on the other hand are the sex that has to approach and make money. So it makes sense for our behavior to be more aggressive and impatient than women.

And when it comes to being emotional women can't just leave their offspring like a man can. So they need to be more in tune with their emotions to rely on other people and bond with their child. Where as a man doesn't need to be that emotional due to strength and confidence. He can rely on his own and truly be independent so it doesn't make sense for him to be over emotional. Especially if you needs to take more risk in life.

There was actually a study done to show that women's brains are actually built to be more sensitive to stress. So if they have a higher lower level of stress tolerance. You can't say they mature faster than men because they're biological need are different.

I was watching a documentary about how boys are falling behind and he stated that girls are more mature than guys because they want relationships instead of women with sex, but in my mind that has less to do with maturity than the fact that men don't get pregnant for 9 months. So why would we feel the same need to make the relationship last as a woman does?
