Basically it was down too guys having to be risk takers in order to succeed in life. We're girls have to be protective in order to succeed in life. So you can't give both sexes the same advice. Because as a guy you should take that job opportunity. You should approach that girl. You should learn how to be confident. Where as with girls it's you shouldn't wear that dress. You shouldn't walk down that ally at night. etc

What Girls & Guys Said

Every "should" tends to be accompanied by a "shouldn't". Glass is half full, glass is half empty. Like this:
>> Because as a guy you should take that job opportunity.
We could also say a guy shouldn't be unemployed.
>> You should approach that girl.
We could also say a guy shouldn't be timid.
>> Where as with girls it's you shouldn't wear that dress.
We could also say a girl should dress modestly.
I can keep going on but hopefully you get the idea. I don't really see the difference as a result.
If you're talking about whether social conditioning focuses more on positive reinforcement vs. negative reinforcement on men vs. women, I actually might just be biased being male but I actually think males have more negative reinforcement.
Like if a girl wants to be a doctor, I bet she'll receive more positive reinforcement like, "You go, girl!" If a guy wants to a nurse, he might receive more negative reinforcement and even be teased for that aspiration.
I don't usually believe stupid stuff...
no exceptions today
this is a super superficial way to look at it
What's the definition of superficial?
use google its free
Yes, and we blacks live in a world of "If you don't do this, you're not truly black."
Well I was asking for your definition of it because I don't think it's in the situation
Girls are told they shouldn't speak, behave, dress or bond with their boy in a certain manner, while guys are told we should be aggressive, powerful, sybaritic and emotionless
