What Girls Said
If I get to the point where I like someone that much that I could see myself going on dates and maybe a relationship then yeah I will mention it to friends and family. Usually with both I tend to wait until I have gone on a date or two. There is no sense in jumping the gun and things not working out only to have to explain to everyone why they didn't. After a couple dates I tend to have an idea if there is any potential for a relationship and at that point might make mention to my family or friends that I have been on a couple of dates and tell them about the guy.
Maybe one really close friend.
Definitely not my family. They'd be the last to know.
