Guys, do you talk to your friends about your relationship?

My boyfriend apparently talks about our relationship sometimes with his friends, not only about the good stuff but also about some of the bad aspects, like fights, and obviously, after hearing the bad parts, i fear his friends will end up disliking me and that will harm our relationship. I can't help feeling like he talks about me behind my back, like I've been betrayed or sth, even though I talk to my friends about our relationship too, just that I try to keep them liking him, cause I care about this relationship on the long run. I believe, however, the part that bothers me most is that he lies to me about it, he never tells me the truth/the whole truth when I ask him if he told anyone about this or that thing. This is actually what makes me see it as a bad thing, that he hides it instead of being honest with me. Am I not supposed to be bothered by this?

I talk all the time. I talk about things that piss me off, and I brag about things that I really like. It is good to hear what others have to say and their opinions on matters. It can help solve problems and widen your outlook on your own relationship.
As for your relationship, the honestly part is something you two have to work on. If you are setting up a mood where he can't be honest without upsetting you, you might have to back off a bit and allow him that freedom. If you are being a good person, and honest with him, what bad can he say?

Of course I do. They're my friends. That's what they're there for. They're my emotional safety net. When I'm feeling down, then lift me up. When I'm feeling up, they raise me higher. I talk about all of the aspects of my relationship that I feel need talking about with them. Why is that so strange?

It's because I look at it as if it were a highly intimate thing... my boyfriend and I, we usually talk about everything ourselves and solve the problem together, but we had a fight recently that almost ended in us breaking up and apparently that is his honesty limit - I guess after a long time of intimacy and honesty it feels rather like a stab in the back. - even if yes, of course I get the emotional safety net thing. Oh, and I can't help thinking his friends are gonna hate me because my side of the story, that he never tells.
