Trending & News I mean it’s classic romcom bs, but is it positive for her? Ladies?

Wasn’t the entire point of her character that she was attention-seeking? She just wanted validation and a sign that someone liked her. In all reality she’d grow out of it by the end of college but at least she got a high school boyfriend
That part was cheesy. Calling it. She was cooler all mysterious (even if a little bit weird) and everyone knows it.

I've forgotten the end, but didn't one of the boys sexually assault her?

There is SOMETHING to be said for being conventional to attract someone. It's compromising to an identity but you can't have it both ways
No she ends up with the bullying jock.
