Audacity? I don't think that's particularly attractive at all... Why would a woman display that trait to someone she doesn't know. Women DO tell guys that they're not interested... usually in polite ways. If the guy then misses the cues, then she does either have to state boldly that she's not interested OR politely walk away. Most women will choose to be polite to avoid making a scene.
Women operate in quite a different manner than guys do, in their selection process.
For one thing, they generally don't have a lot of resources invested as in the guys whom they've already met, and therefore typically aren't taking on much downside risk, if they're confronted by a guy whom they've met previously.
I hope you are not suggesting men don't do the same thing?
