Take accountability, recognize that while you didn’t have complete control over your actions due to inebriation, they were still your actions. Understand that the things you said came from somewhere in your mind, reflect on where it came from and identify the problem so you can find the solution. Also, apologize to whoever you said those things to, and let them know you’re not seeking forgiveness but that you know you said something that was wrong and hurtful and you regret it.
