So around her birthday and holidays I would get her gifts she really wanted like the newest Ariana grande perfume for Christmas and a pink flower coach purse for her birthday. When it came to getting me gifts she really didn’t try she went to the dollar store and got me stuff and other times it was random stuff that I have never used like for example she bought a neck pillow and I never have used one and she ended up taking it for herself and she did this with other gifts as well

So this would happen pretty frequently there were some occasions where she didn’t even buy me anything and it was her mom who bought me something

Maybe I’m over assuming but honestly just seems like she doesn’t like you that much. She doesn’t even seem to try to get you something for YOU, if she’s not forgetting to buy you something then it’s something basic and random. I recently bought my boyfriend a gift, I spent a good few hours thinking over it, trying to think back of games or anime he loves and if he’s mentioned wanting anything before. it’s a gift I’m getting him so I’d rlly want him to love it or think it’s cool.

Yeah when I would be frustrated at the contrast of the effort I put in versus what she made me seem as if I was ungrateful. She got me a cheap neck pillow and ultimately ended up taking it to use for herself

I’m sorry that she didn’t put equal effort into finding a gift for you like you did for her, you deserve so much better than that. If I do end up buying something for my boyfriend, it’s just for him only, it would selfish of me to buy something for him and then use it for myself later on.

Yeah she did this very frequently she would call me ungrateful when I would be suprised because it’s so random and I have never used it before. Like I knew her special likes and basically had gifts lined up in terms of when I wanted her to open them she was a big fan of just dance so I got her the newest one for ps5 I let her open that on Christmas Eve, thr next day she got the big one the perfume on Christmas Day. On her birthday she got a card and a pink flower coach purse. On Valentine’s Day she got a big pink flower covered bear and a huge heart shaped luxary chocolate container that was specially ordered
