Do women get jealous of other girls who talk to guys they like?

On social media I use to talk with girl a lot but has since I don't know tappered off. But now I'm interacting with other girls as they react to my posts and reply but since then this first girl has since started to interact as well where as before we did not. What is the deal? Seems like women realize what they have lost only when the guy starts to get in with other women. Am I missing something? Whats the thought behind this?

Its a common human emotion to want something you either cannot have, or that somebody else wants.
As for women getting jealous. Not all women (or men in the same position for that matter) do. You see it is ALL about trust. If you are in a relationship that has strong trust, there is never any need to worry about how others interact with your partner because you know whilst they can be friends, they will never be anything more!
