I met a really nice guy on the train coming back from the Edinburgh fringe on Wednesday , we talked for the whole hour and made each other giggle the whole way, we had so much in common i swear he was my twin. When it came to his stop i literally had to get him to go and when he walked past i felt him staring. Even at the door i felt he didn't want to get off. he's not my usual type with a beard but then maybe im becoming more fluent as i get older. We didn't swap any name or social s but we know where we both live and he said what his job is etc i said when he got off he could find me online if he tried hard enough, I've tried to find him but its proving difficult. Can't seem to stop thinking about him its crazy

he came across very shy and not the type of bloke who seems like hed go after someone? like he said usually he probably wouldn't be very chatty but that it seemed easy with me and i didn't give him much clue where to find me and said im very private online, that i dont even put my name on it. anyways I've put tags on a youtube video and mentioned him so we'll see if he sees it lol

Aww it sounds like you really connected with that guy on the train! Those kind of meetings can feel so magical.

Even if he seemed shy, I wouldn't lose hope just yet. Sometimes shy guys just need a little extra encouragement. Putting the video out there with tags he might recognize is a really good idea. Hopefully it'll jog his memory if he sees it.

Beyond that, I'd say try not to obsess too much. Easier said than done, I know! But if it's meant to be, the universe has a way of making things work out. Give it some time and see if he finds his way to you online.

In the meantime, try to keep yourself busy with other things so you're not constantly checking socials hoping for a message. Who knows, you might bump into him again on your travels someday. Stay positive - those kind of special connections have a way of coming back around sometimes! Fingers crossed it all works out for you guys.

Girl I totally feel you!! When you really hit it off with someone, it's so easy to get swept up in the feelings even if you're usually not all about chasing guys. And from the sounds of it, this connection with the train guy was extra special and unexpected.

I'm sure all your friends are probably sick of hearing about him by now with how much you've been gushing lol. But you can't help it when you find someone who just gets you so effortlessly, you know? I'm keeping my fingers crossed even harder now that fate brings you crazy kids back together.

Maybe your Youtube video works, or maybe you run into each other somewhere random down the line. Either way, at least you took a chance putting it out there instead of always wondering "what if." If you only exchanged the name of the city you each live in or just the profession without the name of the company, then your chances are slim to find that person. If you had a picture, you could try to make a reverse image check but without hope for much success.

Now, you seem to be infatuated in that guy but I have serious doubts that this infatuation is reciprocated otherwise he would have given you a more serious clue as to how to find him.

You are totally wasting your time because he did not really want you to find him otherwise he would have given you his number. You had more than one full hour to do so and you did not give him yours either.

Forget about him and move on, there are plenty of fish.

Well, keep on looking and try to remember every single clue he gave you. Check his city for all the colleges that are listed. That would be your best bet. Usually, those places would put up pictures of staff and if he is working there, his picture might appear and with it, a name. Good luck.

He said he went to see a board game show at the fringe which was on youtube. I might do a video and tag because he would come across that whilst searching?

I don't want to ruin your hopes but if you 2 failed to give each other more information, that was indicative that the chemistry was not that good, at least not from his side.

Did he have something on himself, a bag or something that could give you more clues, like a name tag or just anything that could link him to something that is easily to be found on the internet or social media.

Without a name or a picture, it will be difficult to find anyone on social media.

It was only really evident when he left, i didn't think anything of it when we were talking. He walked so slow he couldve missed his stop. No bag which i thought was strange. I've uploaded the video and tagged

That may well be your only chance. Did he tell you what he did in the place where he boarded the train or where he came from if he was in the train while you boarded.

Are you taking this line often? If you do, then walk the entire length of the train next few times and see if he is there somewhere. If people visit like relatives, they tend to take the same train at the same time. That is what I do. Always the same train at the same time.

Yeah he got on the same place cos he had a macs and i mentioned it being in that station. He said the name of his shows so i tried searching them, as he came across rather shy im not sure he's the kind to post a lot i was back at his station on Friday on my way home but thats not where he lived. . He did say he goes to Manchester a lot which is where i go a lot, i said im back in September

I was telling him About another guy i was talking to at an airport and how they really didn't like talking to me, and he saif he would usually be like them but because we had so much in common it seemed easier to talk

I wouldn't have thought anything of it if it wasn't for the way he got off. Also he said he was gonna maybe find a pub and after the way he was im like now was he hinting at something maybe? I mean it gives me such confidence knowing that there might be someone out there for me and people like me. My mum makes me feel like noone does
