Why does he pretend to look for something around me when there’s nothing there?

I Had a crush on this guy for a while and he’s always staring at me and we just both end up staring at each other. He never comes and talks to me even when he is directly next to me , so I have decided to just stay away from him and just mind my business. when I do he always walks around me and he pretends to be looking for something around me and there’s never anything around me and walks away

He probably feels the same and trust me some guys are actually shy. It's literally up to you to get some clarification. You should talk to him next time like hey looking for something? I always see you around... etc Some guys are dumb and if you feel something more than likely he does too
