I only can speak for myself of course. I hate to be "approached" by people and in particular by men because I am fully aware what their ultimate goals are when they "approach" a girl.

Nobody wants to admit it but the final aim when men approach girls is ultimately to get into their pants. I am not interested in being just another number on their body counts or victims' lists and that is why I abhor to be approached. There is no particular place that is better than another but the worst places are certainly clubs and bars. Men go there specifically to target women for the sole purpose to ultimately fornicate with them.

As a rule of thumb, places where people gather to socialise are the best places to approach.
