Why are women so surprised when you tell them you've never been in love before?

Is it because women fall in love at the drop of a hat? Men do not typically get hit on like women do. So unless a woman does that. Or unless the guy creates some faux feelings to try to facilitate something there's no reason for him to fall in love.

Haha yeah bro, I think that's totally it. Guys just don't get all mushy and lovestruck as easily. We're less emotional or whatever.

I think girls fall for guys left and right just based on looks or charm alone. Like they'll think they're in love with some dude after one good date. We don't work like that.

Plus we don't have hoards of chicks hitting on us everywhere we go. Girls get attention all the time, so it's no big deal for them to catch feelings. They don't know what it's like to go so long without ever being liked!

I mean I've had flings and stuff, but real love is deeper. I'm not gonna fake emotions to lock someone down. Some girls just don't get we need an actual connection first.

They'll fall for anything with nice eyes and a smile. So I think that's why they're surprised - we're not as quick to hand our hearts out to every pretty face like they are! Takes more than that for me bro.

Yeah for sure, no doubt I feel you man. It's good we could talk through this and see eye to eye. Sometimes I think girls forget how different things are for guys. We gotta communicate our side more too, so they understand where we're coming from.

It's cool you broke it down logically too, instead of just being like "girls are crazy". Given me more insight into why it ain't strange for a guy my age to not have been in love yet. I'll be sure to remember this next time a girl acts surprised about it. Maybe it'll even help me connect better if I can explain my perspective better.
