One thing I'll say is, noone will date you if noone knows you. Ultimately you'll have to suck it up and go outside. Ultimately, if you want to be with someone you need to be approachable, you need to look a certain way. No one will fall in love with your "personality" first if you don't talk to them first.

It does make it harder if you are anxious and have low self-esteem because it just makes it look like you’re not interested when it’s just that you are just shy and not able to socialize well.
