Having a boyfriend./hubby is like having a best friend who I can share love, laugh etc with…
I am still free as a bird with what I have always done such as travel, cook, shop, work… same except now I can go with a best friend to ask… for opinions, order a cup of tea/ice cream… sit down, talk, laugh, hug, kiss, hold hands.
At home, we ask if we need anything … go shop together or just say… I’ll go pick up some bread… you want anything or can you get me a cup of tea, I don’t feel so good… so nice to have him around.
we plan trips, we meet friends. We discuss our goals, pain, past, mostly future.. we talk about Mr. T from here lol …
Mr. T. We met another gag member whom he has been talking with since 2015!!! Can you believe it? Like 10’yrs already!! She is no longer here… she is from Canada and came here with her boyfriend. We met her and her boyfriend the first time last week. We had a wonderful time playing in Manhattan!
Hope you get here one day!
I have been single since I left home and I enjoy my single life so much that I have no intention to screw it up or jeopardize it by being with someone, regardless of the gender of that person.
Being in a relationship or together with someone has nothing but disadvantages in my opinion. You lose your freedom, you have to adjust, you have to perform, you have to work double, mainly as a woman because let's face it, most men are lazy when it comes to sharing house chores and cooking/cleaning.
If I was forced to have a boyfriend, I would make sure that he knows what he is allowed to do and what not and where his limits and duties are.
That’s the idea of what a romantic relationship is to you young people…? Kinda surprised and funny at the same time.
@midnightmoon05 Thanks for your input. I don't really know what is funny not to want to have to be under permanent pressure from a partner. I am referring here in particular to the intimate part of the relationship which is something that totally disgusts me mainly because of all what is expected. And if you cannot (or don't want to) provide, then you find that you have been cheated on.
So, tell me, what is so funny about it?
Awweeee the intimate part is sooooo good… it makes me wonder why you feel that way…
The funny part is how it’s not like that in reality… makes me laugh in a sense that it’s so sad.
@midnightmoon05 just to read a typical male answer below is enough to give me a good idea of how disgusting that can be :-(
Don’t look for men on gag. Oops… I found my hubby on gag 😂
@midnightmoon05 oh please, no nightmares 🙄
Oh!! I’m sooooo lucky!! He is such an amazing guy! We even met up with Unit 1 summer of 2023!!
We just wish you all find happiness. Makes me
Feel so sad to read what’s going on with young people not wanting to be in a romantic, loving relationship due to fear. 😧
Hugs to you all.
@midnightmoon05 That's right :>
