Woman wants me to give her a nickname?

A woman I know seemed to be upset that I haven't created a nickname for her like I do with some of my guy friends like the playfully mean ones. Just thought to ask why would a woman want to be given a nickname.

So my only guess because there isn't much context to who this woman is to you is that she wants to feel part of the group. I don't know if she is a coworker or just a part of your group of friends but maybe she feels left out. The reason I am saying this (or guessing for that matter) is that you mention you give your guy friends nicknames. That's why I am guessing she wants one to. She wants to feel included in the group like everyone else is. Perhaps there is even some jealousy that she has been left out in that way. It is really the only thing that makes sense in my mind. I really don't have another or alternative guess as to why.
