Why do women communicate in a cryptic way instead of straight and clear?

I'm trying to understand what's going on in a woman's head

I sometimes find it very difficult to understand how they really feel? Some woman say "no" but mean "yes", tell me its fine that I go out with my boys, but she really means she doesn't want me to go.

It's very confusing sometimes 🙈

Usually straight forward does not work! Also very boring to constantly nag or tell you something.

So sometimes we have fun and see if you can figure it out. We know your not listening either way and will fail so what does it matter?

Might as well enjoy myself before being upset! 😜

Also depends on that women's feelings at that second. How she reacts sometimes a few minutes mean very different feelings.

I disagree with you about the fact that straight forward communication isn't going to work!

I'm not sure why you are assuming all guys are the same and never listen to their woman but I'm going to assume that you just have been dating toxic men.

I don't want to judge you in any way but honestly I believe you are better off staying single with that mindset.

It's a common misconception that all women communicate in a cryptic way, it's not a universal trait. It is just some men don't listen or don't have the basic common sense to understand what is being said.

I never generalize because I know out of my own experience that some woman are very capable of explaining their feelings in a clear way

It may not specifically be "cryptic" (or at least not purposely so). Girls try to see if there's a "connection" with a person of interest, so (over a short span of time) they my inadvertently "test the waters" by tossing in a reference to something you've both discussed in the past. (Guys will occasionally do this to show their interest.)

Then over the course of a long-term relationship a person may state things with a specific sort of undertone that subtly (rather than overtly) makes a point that you're meant to catch on to because you have a common pool of thoughts and references (e. g., inside jokes). They're not purposely designed to be cryptic TO YOU even if they are considered basic and unimportant to others hearing the statement.

I feel like part of the reason is how girls are raised or taught how to be like by society. they are taught to be nice, to not cause problems and that they are often „too emotional“. I think this can often make women feel hesitant to express their true feelings because they don‘t wanna be too much, to offend someone or they think that they want to do or say „the right thing“.

I understand what you are telling me. I have never really stood still by the fact that woman are also being told to behave a certain type of way just as men are also being told how to behave like a real man
