Girl I liked for some time trying to make me jealous/string me along?

There's a girl who works right by where I do whom I've been talking to for months. I would stop by to see her once a week on thursdays during my lunch and talk to her for about twenty minutes or so befire heading back.

I've asked her out once before but she's had things going on that were serious in her life in regards to her ex and told me he left her pregnant. I took it well and even joked around with her some. I asked her for her name - she told me so I told her she should add me on facebook. I figured we got along well enough why not you know? ... but she never accepted the request.

Months later, we still have friendly conversation, but I decided to limit the time I spend in there due to uncertainty. About two weeks ago, as I was leaving she playfully tells me that she was "Sad" and I don't really understand why I said this in a joking manner but I told her maybe that was the reason I was tired myself. She playfully responded with "Nahhh!" And I smiled pretty big and said I would see her again soon.

I decided to stop by the following day and we had a very fun conversation. I decided to ask her if she had a paper and pen (she gave it to me) and I wrote my name and number down and handed it to her. She took it and said she didn't know that was my last name, which confused me because I had sent her a friend request on facebook.

I went along with our conversation as normal until I decided it was time to leave because my lunch was about to end. Fast Forward a week later. I go in, she proceeds to not only completely stone wall me but there was a random guy customer who left the store, and she walks over to the other cashier girl and the other girl said something about the guy being a 10 / 10.

There's no way that wasn't deliberate. I may be an autistic man but even I know what happened there. Wouldn't it be obvious if a man gives you his number that he likes you? I asked her out once all ready. I haven't told her the full capacity of my feelings.

1. She has to be nice to people in the shop/store.

2. What was she going to do when you gave her the number? Put it in the garbage in front of you?

Just because you had a pleasant conversation where she WORKS doesn't mean that it is a given she is into you.

She sat it by the register computer - I really don't know what she might have done with it.

... and I do understand that, but what I don't understand was why she would say that she was sad as I was about to leave. Was she trying to keep me in the store for longer?

Hard to say. Only she knows. She either is tone deaf to your expectations or she is the type that will take the next thing that walks in front of her. Either way, she could have handled it better.

I really have no idea what's going on. I always thought my behavior seemed consistent but obvious, but maybe I'm wrong?
