For about a year myself and a girl kept looking at each other in the gym. Everytime she walk in she stare at me, or if she walked past carrying weights she would stare. But I did not know if she was single. Sometimes I saw her with a guy. And when she was with him she would smile to herself. Like she thought I was jealous and liked her. I am a lot bigger than the guy so I was showing off a little (without noticing). Also another time he kept interrupting my workout asking if I was using stiff and she was smiling to herself.
Then when she walked in front of me to put weights back she was smiling to herself again. Months later did not see them together. I walked up to her to ask if she was using something. I was like a giant compared to her. She said she just got on the machine.
then she started smiling to herself again. I asked how long she will be. She responded but, after she started being nice and kept walking up to me like 3/4 times.
Then I started seeing her on the gym everyday I was in there. She would stare at me everytime. She would get visibly bothered if I was around other girls. Then she would make it look like she is friends with them (maybe to deter me from pursuing them). Also she would listen in to my conversation if I'm asking people things and try as go out of her way to be nice. She never does it for others. Weeks went by I didn't talk to her. She just kept staring. Then she gave me a dog eye when I checked another girl out.
Then out of nowhere she comes back in with her ex boyfriend. I pretended not to notice and left the gym. I saw them arguing in a parking lot. Then she saw me in the gym again on her own, kept staring. But then kept obnoxiously working put near me and checking out every guy in the gym (like on purpose)
