Does he purposely try to make me mad?

This guy I like and I have a weird relationship. We know we have some feelings for each other and have hooked up before but neither of us can get the courage to actually say something to the other to admit their feelings and move the relationship further. We're kinda stuck in this flirty fun make out phase. The part that bothers me is he always acts like he's such a ladies man in front of me like tons of girls dig him and he acts like he's lovin it. He can tell I get mad / jealous and it's like he enjoys seeing me react this way. Hell then just say "you're mad so you obviously care". Is he just doing this on propose to get me to say something? Or does he just suck lol. Thoughts?

I was in a similar situation myself with a boy who had been one of my close friends. We've known each other for 10+ years, or I should say, I thought I knew him.

It blew up in my face and I ended up finding out he was a complete and total monster, who lied and manipulated me just to try and get in my pants, wearing the mask of "my sweet, goofy knight in shining armor." He knows of my past history with abuse and said he would be patient. I've never been so glad I didn't have sex with someone in my life.

It's a really long story over the course of six months where he does his best to get me to fall in love with him so I "give it up," so to speak, while lying about his intentions. He had plans to get back with his ex-girlfriend the entire time, and was actually stringing along on of his co-workers he was sleeping with as well. He finally just admitted this all the other day, and my mnd still struggles to accept this was the sweet boy that would fall asleep with me on the phone if I was having a bad day, and that was when we were strictly just friends.

I think my case is probably an extreme, and I hope there aren't that many insane people in the world, I wanted to share it with you because your situation sounds almost exactly how ended up ending. While I hope your guy isn't completely mental, please just be careful, and keep your eyes wide open for any red flags that something isn't right.
