My boyfriend purposely tries to make me jealous?

When me and my boyfriend first started talking we went out clubbing with a few friends, he dissappeared for an hour or so and came back with some random girl (he didn't get with her). I didn't really care as we weren't properly together then. Later on that night he told me that he really liked me and that the girl was a test to see if I would get jealous (which i passed), I thought it was weird but i liked him so chose to look past it. He also mentioned that he has tested me a few other times which i all 'passed'. We've been together for 4 months now. There have since been two other times where he has purposley tried to make me jealous or 'test' me - that i know of. E. g. when we were fighting he started liking every single one of a girls posts on facebook (he dislikes her and knows that i do aswell). I don't understand why he is doing this because If i do say something that implies im jealous he gets angry at me? Why is he doing this?

He's just insecure. He's trying to see whether or not you actually care about him, but instead of asking you directly, he's testing you.

its hard to explain and there is a lot more too it but i know for sure he isn't cheating on me.. without going into too much detail he is very self conscious and it took a lot of him getting comfortable with me before we even kissed. I'm the only person he has had sex with sober besides his ex and before me it had been a year before he had done anything haha and when im next to him and he's on facebook there's no messages from girls

I don't know but I feel like he is cheating and he's saying he's testing you so if you catch him doing something he's not suppose to do, he can just say he's 'testing' you again. It just seems like a weird situation. I get insecurity but this is taking it too far

I guess so.. he has a lot of issues haha. But i didn't say anything about him liking all that girls facebook posts and when we were arguing he was trying to say that was the real reason i was angry at him even though i never brought it up and the argument had nothing to do with jealousy.. so i feel like he was doing it on purpose thinking that i would see it and say something.. wow the more i talk about it there worse it sounds haha i think he's abit crazy :\
