Why would my ex wife be angry with me, and try to ruin my current relationship, now that we have announced pregnancy and marriage?

4 years ago, my wife and i divorced. It was her choice, but she was also cheating. Dodged a bullet in my opinion. We had no kids, and due to work situation there was no alimony or spousal support.

About a year ago i started dating this gorgeous red head. she's somewhat younger than her. I personally am 39. She is 31, and my ex is 36. Last weekend i asked her to marry me. This was just after we announced her pregnancy. Suddenly my ex is blowing up my phone. Blowing up my families phone, and threatening the person i am with. I never, not once got angry with my ex for dating, granted she's been through 30+ men in the last 4 years. And i honestly didn't go near women until i met the person im with.

Dont worry, i am blocking her on everything, but due to some of her behavior, like coming to my work. Coming to my fiance's work, and harassing our family more directly from phone calls i am considering a restraining order.

I just dont understand it. Why would she be so angry that i moved on? That im finally going to have children.

Almost every guy I know who's wife cheated on them got married again while their ex-wife was pissed and still single.

She still thinks she owns you. You aren't supposed to moving on happy with a younger woman. She's not happy in her life and can't blame you any longer. Let's be honest no good man would accept anything serious with a woman who was cheating with him because she would only cheat on him. Treat her with kindness and she will do the rest.

She sounds nuts , yeah definitely a restraining order and get security cameras just in case.

Why are you still in contact with her? Block her. If you see her at social events, don't engage. Be civil but cold. Do not discuss your personal life with her at any time.
