Women are emotional, and their emotions can make them irrational. When women become irrational, they don't make sense. If you are having a conversation about abortions, for example, and you say something a woman disagrees with, there is a high likely hood she will be responding based on how it makes her feel versus what is being said.

When I realize that I'm in a friendship or relationship with someone like that, I usually start to keep a record of the behavior; things said, situations where she reacted poorly. I'll usually keep it on my phone. When you do this, you'll be able to refer back to your notes when you talk with her about it. People like that tend to tell you that you're making a big deal over nothing, or they'll try to say that the incident didn't actually happen.

I started doing this when I had these friends who would interrupt me all the time. It got so bad to the point that one night, I started counting the number of times they interrupted me. Just on that night. I lost count after 70+ interruptions in like 4 hours of hanging out. I didn't keep track of what all was being said, or why they cut me off, or even what time they did it; I just made a mental note that they did it.

You don't want to be obsessive or overly detailed about the note taking, but it's good to make a small note about certain important things that you can refer back to later. I'll keep notes about things like what exactly someone asked me to do when they asked me to do them a favor; I'll make a note if someone someone asked me to meet them somewhere at a certain time. If they stood me up, I would make a note of that too. And keep your notes totally objective and neutral; just fact statements.

The big thing with the notes is to compare what the person said with what they actually did. In your case, you might make a small note that says "on May 7, 2025, at the bowling alley, Emily yelled at a man in the lane beside us when he picked up her bowling bowl."
