Why does she keep saying she isn’t my type?

A girl keeps saying to me for the past month or so how she is ‘not my type’ i never talked about my type to her and judging from girls i’ve been with she would be my type.
She keeps teasing it or dropping it whenever it is remotely fitting.

Either she has severe self image issues and she's fishing for you to chase her or she is turning you down just in case there is any interest by using a soft rejection instead of just saying you aren't her type or she's not interested in you.

Hard to know with little information.

If you want her then all you can do is take your chances. If you've been perceived as flirting with her and she's soft rejecting you, she may just be more direct. Good luck though in figuring out why she is doing it.

Well she started this when she found out a blonde girl was super into me.

The girl that does this has always been flirty and touchy with me but i just thought that was our thing but this makes me think, why would she compare herself to that girl?
