Why do men lose our hair?

My reason is kind of complicated so i'll present it as succinctly as i can

1. Old men can have children

2. Old men are usually wealthier

3. Hair is of primary importance for sexual attraction to be there

4. Men who go bald have more kids while they are younger

5. Men who don't go bald could more easily attract women at an older age

6. The fitness level of children born to older fathers (40+) is much lower, with significantly higher rates of neurodevelopmental issues, lower bone density, etc.

7. Thus the men who go bald end up having a higher percentage of healthy children

There are men with high t that dont ever need that stuff. And they got hair at 70 years old. But most men dont have those genetics.

If the reason were just that hairloss genetics weren't apparent by the time men were done having children, male patterned baldness wouldn't be a thing by 30-35. It would only show up at 50-60. A lot of men show signs of balding. It seems like a way to discourage women from having kids with older males, to me.

It’s always been that way. I don’t think women care that much they’re used to it. They like older guys older age appeal to them. Balding or not.

If old men had hair they'd definitely attract more women. problem is if hair and such didn't age in sync with the viability of his sperm then that could be a huge issue

yeah exactly. which is why, if a man's sperm was shitty, it would be beneficial to honestly represent that fact. could also be why honesty is a masculine trait. the more dishonest a man is the more likely he is to have sick children. if he's honest all the time then most of his children will be had while he is young and attractive. whereas wearing makeup and telling lies to conceal his age, what he wants, etc would lead to more sex and more children, it would also lead to less fit children overall
