I couldn't do away with wood. It makes for beautiful creations in furniture and parquet.
Metal is needed for sturdiness and structural soundness. Stone for visual and sensual contact with a material shaped by nature over thousands of years. Glass for large windows, greenhouses, early photography processes and - for the vain amongst us - mirrors, also known as a looking glass. Paper to provide a canvas for thoughts, memories, fantasies and love letters.
So plastic has to go.
none of them. We will always have wood and plastic is never going away, metal is necessary and stone is what the planet is made of glass is making a comeback and there is more paper used now since the "paperless office" was developed.
Thought experiment.
Plastic. Whoever invented it should be hung. It's caused nothing but pollution and has destroyed the environment and creatures who live in it.
I picked stones. That is the only one on the list that I don’t use on a daily basis.
There goes A LOT of infrastructure!!

Plastic, kill it! Kill it! Kill it!
Plastic is and should be the obvious answer, but then the consequences, oh the consequences on the market and the total transformation of how we operate societally. On what and why we buy products. And the repercussions on economy, production and wealth. Imagine that everyone suddenly become reasonable. I know you're imagining it. It's going to be insane.
Plastic. I can just remember before everything had plastic stuck to it. Didn't need recycling facilities for plastic because everything could easily be sterilised
Three of these don't exist naturally so of those which can we do without? Not glass and not plastic. That's a fucked up question Doc!
Plastic because it pollutes.
Plastic should go
