Why are so many women against Cannabis? but will do anything for alcohol?

despite Marijuana being more accepted than before I still have a tough time running into women who actually support or consume it.

here where I live most of the females who consume Marijuana are usually drama queens from the hood or suburban troublemakers.

alcohol in the other hand is a totally different stories. in my state women at clubs and bars drink gobble down on alcohol like its nothing. every Saturday night after clubs closed down all you see is drunk women mobbing the streets in every direction.

so I always wondered, why do women hate Marijuana so much but treat alcohol like a waters of saviours?

I hate most types of alcohol actually, both its taste and effects. I can drink socially, but only on special occasions with friend and without trying to get wasted.

The only times I tried marijuana was during times that I was stressed/depressed about something, only tried it a few times in my life. Honestly I don't exactly know how to describe the feeling of smoking weed, it can either help with stress or make it worse. I did enjoy it most of the time, but tbh I just prefer to live without vices, also I don't like the smell of it at all.

When compared to alcohol though, I still think marijuana is usually less harmful and I'm also in favor of it being legalized for recreational use. I don't have anything personal against pot smokers or drinkers, but I just don't prefer to be around that environment.

According to Google more people are partaking in marijuana than they are with alcohol. People are getting away from alcohol and consuming more marijuana and that includes a lot of women. And these are average women like me and not the ones you listed.

though of course I admit is going to be hard because most places that accept the consumption of Marijuana still prohibits its use out in public. where alcohol in the other hand will always have the upper hand

For now it has the upper hand but I think our federal government or at least more states that control marijuana legislation is starting to see that dui's are more prevalent and dangerous as well as alcohol being way more unhealthy than consuming marijuana. There are some states still trying to hold on to their views but eventually they will give in too and more people will find it acceptable and states will start letting people consume it out in public areas. I forsee this happening in the next ten years. By 2035, it will be the opposite.

I mean here in my state is illegal to consume alcohol in the streets. so cops can still flip your world upside down even if you walk out in public with a beer in your hand. however this doesn't stop people from getting drunk indoors and then going out once they are drunk.

weed smokers in the other hand tend to still do it in their own space and you rearly see them go out while they are high.

That's true. It's that way in my state as well but I think things are slowly starting to change in how people are viewing marijuana. It's not going to be in a couple of days but I think by 2035 or 2040, marijuana will be legal everywhere and may even be able to be used in public by a lot of states. Who knows. 🤷‍♀️ We'll see I guess.

to be honest I think its because alcohol has more status benefits

if you think about despite it becoming legal now and more accepted people still see potheads as "good for nothing lazy ass coach potatoes." meanwhile alcohol has become a major component in parties, nightclubs, launges and other places that stimulate women.

women can drink till they black out and nobody will ever call them alcoholics. simps also see them as easy and will gravitate towards them like flies to a pile of shit
