What do men want in their late 20's?

Say 26 or older. What are they looking for in life and relationships? And do they think a lot more before going into a relationship?

I'm 29 and I'm starting to feel old. Like I'm past my prime. What I want the most is a good job that's not too stressful and gives me some stability. I want to be able to workout 4 times a week and eat/rest well. Also I want some free time to geek out over stuff I like.

About relationships, well... I'm not counting on those. I guess the main difference now is that I will not pair up with a woman if I think it won't work. As in I won't thrust myself into a doomed relationship just for the sake of having someone or having fun. I've come to ignore the pressure of "not having a girlfriend", the inadequacy of it doesn't bother me anymore.

I will only involve myself with a woman if I feel we can truly have something. I can't say I'm marriage-minded (I don't believe in marriage) but I'm all for a serious long-term relationship.

I got married in early 20's. I know a fair number of guys who did.

In your teens and 20's, there are guys who want relationships, and guys who want to be casual. My impression is that actually, as guys get older and more experienced, MORE of them go casual. The guys who were casual stay that way till early 30's or so. The guys who wanted relationships, either get married, or they go through some breakups and figure out that relationships weren't as perfect as they thought they'd be, and start building the confidence/game to get women and realize they don't need them.

Yeah, they 'think a lot more' because most of them know and recognize that they have options. They don't _need_ a girlfriend.

Typically, upon completing college, men enter into a phase of their life where they focus completely on their careers and enjoying the benefits of, for the first time in their lives, having a stable job with strong earning potential. They typically don't seek relationships during this phase, so only the ones who already had girlfriends to begin with are spoken for. The rest, in most cases, live it up as a bachelor with access to real financial resources until they're pushing 30.

they want vah-jayjay! lol! depends on the guy and the point he is in his life, you can't ask a blanket statement like that, because its prejudged on age, instead of individuality. all you'll get is discriminatory responses. each guys different.

Well we want a good looking girl who won't give us a lot of headaches.

-No cheating
-No trying to change us into something were not
-Do not try to get us to stop seeing our friends
-No standing us up when we have plans
-Do not expect us to be ripped like Chris Hemsworth when you are not willing to go to the gym too
-If were broke and have no money, don't devalue us as human beings.

This is the age when most guys will work hard to get a good and stable job. And during first few years after the job he may like to enjoy his left over days fully before getting hooked up in a lifelong relationship. My simple advice for you if you are having a boyfriend around this age..Give him space .. Express your commitment in the relationship .. Be as horny as you can .. Be loyal and matured ( the important part). Good luck!

I think you have to wait until a guy is in his 30's to be ready to settle down and yeah, men are more fussy now than ever with who they settle down with.

Every guy is different. I'm 26 and I have no plans on settling down or anything like that. My friend from Kindergarten, on the other hand, is about the same age as me and had his first kid last year.
