Girls, if you're being 100% honest do you resent men for not having to go through the same struggles as you?

Obvious stuff like periods, giving birth, pregnancy, etc but also the less obvious stuff like objectification harassment, not being taken as seriously as men, being accused of being to emotional, being talked down to, among other things. Does that cause any degree of resentment?

As I don’t wish this one anyone at all, but with how I’ve seen lots of guys talk about harassment and make fun of women getting harassed. If they actually experienced it themselves they wouldn’t think it was all laughs.

For the most part no. Some of the female-specific stuff sucks but it is part of being a woman. The not being taken as seriously as men does irritate me when it is something I’m more knowledgeable on, but that is something I don’t really see changing so why let it get me down. I expect more from the men in my life and really can’t think of anything they do that would be a negative.

No. Resentment comes from ignorance, though. I can’t blame a man for not experiencing those things, but I can blame a man for being ignorant to these things and acting as if they aren’t problems/gaslighting women who struggle with those things.

I don’t expect him to fully understand, because he never will, but I do expect him to have basic empathy. You don’t have to experience those things to understand how harmful they are.

Resenting them for that? No. Men have their own struggles as well. But I have resented them before for past heartbreaks and such, as I'm sure many of them have resented women at some point for the same.

No resentment here. I generally don't wish ill on people. And biology is what biology is. Just would like some understanding. I know men go through challenges too and I try to be as aware as I can and act accordingly.

And I might be a step back from feminism, but I quite like being underestimated as I feel a lot of internal pressure to perform and besides, you can make the best points when people think you are dumber than you are.
