Ladies of GAG, What would you do if your husband/boyfriend locked you out of your home after you cheated on him?

This question comes from a previous question of mine. She left for four days, slept in the same bed as her ex boyfriend for four days and likely fucked him all weekend.

She came back to her keys not working, her stuff on the front porch, and a note stating i was done with her, i was gone, at a friend of mine's house so i didn't have to deal with her. She called the cops, but the cops told her it was a civil matter and to take me to court. she's pissed off, She chose her path and now refuses to accept the consequences of her actions.

A thing to note. I own my home. Her name is not on it, Her name is not on any of my bills, Her name is not on any of my cars nor is it on any of my accounts. She doesn't even receive mail there. Her drivers license doesn't show my home address as her address. Basically she has no proof of residence. she's been calling my friends and family issuing indirect threats. Its honestly funny to watch.

You did the right thing. From your description, it seems the only things she may still be entitled to are any of her personal things that you missed. She can take you to court for that in a civil matter, but it would be good for you to make sure there is nothing left of hers in the house, and offer to give her anything that's hers.

It's nit clear if she is your girlfriend or your wife. If the latter, you should immediately initiate divorce proceedings with a competent divorce lawyer.

Oh dude, Good job, Glad you kicked her out. At the end of the day its a civil matter, She has nothing criminal she can do to you. And getting a court date for a civil matter takes months. She can do nothing.

A lot of women are like her. Personal responsibility and accountability are things that they are allergic too.

Document the threats, If something does happen, you have that as evidence.
