Girls, when you see a normal pic of a guy and you don't mention anything about how good he looks is that you subtly saying you dislike his looks?

Let's say you're talking to a guy online and he shows you a pic of how he looks. if you aren't gushing over how good he looks and instead are more 'you look nice' or 'you look like how i imagined you' is that you subtly saying you don't think he looks attractive? always wonder about this lol.

If not How do you normally respond when you think a guy looks attractive in a pic he shows you?

Yeah when i think a guy is attractive in a picture i say so. otherwise im subtle about how i think they look

No when i don't think a guy looks good in a pic ill tell him

It depends on the guy if i think they can take criticism well ill tell him he doesn't look good, if not ill be subtle about it

For me, it depends if it's appropriate to tell the guy he looks dashing. It could be Christopher Nolan texting me and sending his pics and I personally think he's goddamn hot but I won't say that to him because it's a little inappropriate given he's way older than me, I'll just say something like you look fine or 'how I imagined you to look'. This is prevalent no matter how close I'm to the said man.

If the guy is in my dating age range then I would say 'why you kinda...' or 'you look cute' or 'you are literally my hear me out' or if we're a bit more close then 'you are beautiful'. I personally think telling someone they're hot from the starting sets a wrong idea of intention behind conversation and is in general weird to start a conversation with, I mean I would find that weird if it happens to me.

The 'Yo fine shyt' and 'damn bruh you thic' comments start when we're extremely close or in a relationship.

But in general if they're ugly then I don't even say anything about their look and if they ask then I say, 'You look fine but not my type' but it's rare because I generally find every human good looking in a way or other. And I don't gush over how good a guy looks unless it's my dad trying a new outfit or my boyfriend existing.

For me it’s just acknowledging that he looks “average”, I suppose. Not amazingly hot, but not ugly either. Just average. If he was super attractive I’d reply with “god damn” lol.

He’s still attractive on some level even if I consider him average. If he wasn’t attractive at all, I wouldn’t comment on his looks at all - not even a “you look nice”. Better to say nothing when you have nothing nice to say!

There's no blanket answer for this for me. If you tell a guy he's good looking, he lets it go straight to his head and thinks you're interested in him, so I've not told a good looking guy anything before for that reason if I don't want him thinking I'm hitting on him. This isn't a dating app after all and people who really need feedback about their looks can use the "how do I look" section if they really want it where people who want to comment can choose to without the pressure of being asked directly, which can be uncomfortable. Usually the picture exchanges are mere curiosity anyway, just to have a face to go with the name and I had no intention of commenting about them one way or the other especially when it gets asked so early on in the talking process and I have no idea how any response would get taken. Sometimes pictures are just obligatory because they asked and you feel like you should reciprocate to be polite or just because it's weird for one person to have an image of the other but not the way around. All very much a case by case basis depending on the vibe I get from whoever I'm talking to.

If I don't react to a picture, I don't like the picture. Not the looks. Even a person you're not physically attracted to can take good pictures. But I'm not the kind of person to "mention" or "comment" much, I just press like and call it a day.

No, I can look at a guy who looks extremely attractive and still not compliment his looks the very first time I see him or a pic of him. I do acknowledge it in my head and eventually it comes out later lol
