How come girls’ automatically assume guys’ that say they like younger girls’ are talking about girls’ way younger than her?

Now that I am 48 years old and single , I been meeting and talking to girls’ in their late 20’s and 30’s and early 40’s that assume when I say I like younger girls’ she automatically assumes younger than herself , when I am really saying I like girls’ younger than myself , , so now I just say , your age is fine with me 😂 Why do people always assume the worst case scenario , it cracks me up

It's the female rationale. They automatically assume the worst. Which is their stupidity and group mentality in the nutshell. It's why you have so many goddamn loones supporting Lindsay Clancy. And why so many believe the worst about the Cornell 7, when her own documents and text messages exonerate the bunch. It's group stupidity.

The mind is ruled by psychological biases. Such biases twist the mind into believing some things are true, when they are not. Two of the most powerful biases are hope (or, described differently, optimistic belief that something may be true) and fear. When someone hopes something may or may not be true, such as that a friend did not betray him, then he may actually believe in a lie told to him by another, or told to himself, that the friend did not betray him, when in actuality the friend did. Similarly, when someone fears something may or may not be true, such as that one is not competent enough to fill one's responsibilities, then he may actually believe that such is true. Instead of allowing biases to twist one's mind, one must try and escape the effect of the biases and determine the actual truth of a situation.

Because that is vague and when you say younger directly to someone, it’s normal to interpret that as younger than them, not younger than you

Because you can't just say that 'I like youger 'ladies' anymore. Just say that you like girls/women who are younger than you are.
