What are your texting pet peeves?

I have three main pet peeves:

1. when I text an entire paragraph or something and all I get in response is "lmao" or something (I know I'm funny but give me a more meaningful response!) or if they're just boring ("hey" "hey sup" "nm you" "nm" *yawn*)

2. Taking a really long time to respond to something important.

3. Really bad spelling. Like really bad.

Here's my texting pet peeves:

#1 :misusing the different forms of 'too, to, two' like

"I like that to" ugh... call me a grammar nazi, but is it too much work to put in an extra, appropriate 'o?'

#2: Yeah, I hate it when guys take forever and a day to respond... especially when it's someone I like.

#3: When you are engaging in a group text and then someone in the group text sends you a private message and is like "who is this?" Seriously? I just had a million racing thoughts of wondering if you were my crush who has finally magically gotten my number and is texting me! Get a brain! Unfortunately, my iPhone still isn't as smart as me and likes to play tricks on me (mostly because I think Siri is out to get me because I make her tell me bedtime stories lol :). But yeah, if you get a group text and then you get a response to it from someone else you don't know... that's where the response is from!

1- when my ex would say 'hey u' like I was some distant friend I mean ugg it always bigged me when he would text me like that

2- when a person says they will text you later and that later turns into a day or two

3- when someone takes a super long time to reply I mean I can understand if your busy or somenthing but it's just annoying

4- when someone accidently texts the wrong person. I mean hello look at the person your sending it to b4 you press send dumbass

yea I know some people do it on purpose but for the people who really accidently do it it gets annoying.

Bad spellers

no use of punctuation whatsoever-_-

I get that A LOT and I hate it. There's only one friend who actually uses punctuation. Well,98% of the time.

Of course,my fwb/crush rarely uses it but that's ok,he's got a job that keeps him super busy,so yeah.

Basically just have one, abbreviations that don't make any sense. I have nothing against abbreviations in general but sometimes when I get a text from one of my sisters, I can't even understand what she is saying because of her strange abbreviations.

Have you ever thought about the fact that abbreviation is a really long word... ^^

For me, it's the one-word responses, as in your #1.

Personally, when I consistently get answers like that, I literally text "why the one-word responses? please explain".

Pardon me if that makes me sound like an a**hole, but I don't want to waste my time talking to a dis-engaged person. Time is money. :)

I know what you mean. But with some people, I tolerate it. My boyfriend texts like that but I asked him about it and he's just like, "idk how to keep a continual stream of conversation going but I still want to talk to you." So I'm like okay, that's fine. but everyone besides him... more than one word, please! XD

but overall, bad grammar & spelling.

i don't mind text talk as in 'u' but gratuitous things are annoying. it's like stfu & go away ya know.

Mainly one word responses. I have a prepaid phone, and it's a complete waste of my minutes when people do that. It also leaves me nowhere to go in the conversation. I don't really mind if it takes a while to respond, but heck if it takes 5 hours and all they say is "haha", I'm going to be like "What?I forgot we were talking." lol

When people send me K I usually express my displeasure by joking about it and saying something uber-nerdy like, "What brought up Potassium?" well, it gets the point across haha.
