Trending & News I Miss You - OVER RATED AND OVER USED! Same as LOVE! I believe people use these to openly. to me.. I only say I Miss You when I'm actually sitting there thinking about someone. however I know some people just say "I Miss You" because its easy to say.
"How I wish you where here" - I see as being sincere.. and honest. I actually got htis message the other night and my heart burnt wishing that I could be with that girl. After a night out I left early because I was falling asleep in my chair, so I left her at the bar. The next morning she went down to the beach alone to watch the sunrise and clear her mind and sent me a message saying "cant help but wish you where here with me" < I see that as true, romantic, honest & sincere I could sense her emotions.
i could sense your emotions reading your answer =)...so when she sent you that message, did you respond to her? I asked this question because someone with whom I had a fling a few months ago unexpectedly sent me a short 'how are you' email and closed it with "How I wish you were here..." and quiet frankly, I'm not sure what to make of it or what to write back...
I did.. but never got a reply.. it was 5:30 in the morning and the message woke me up.. I'm just up the road from the beach and I asked if she wanted me to come down but never got a reply.
"I miss you" tells the other person you were thinking of them, and perhaps of your last time together. "How I wish you were here" is definitely the more romantic statement, because not only are you thinking about the other person, but you are also longing for them to be with you at that time and place and perhaps picturing them alongside you.
"I miss you" is more romantic - it's a short statement to me that means they are thinking about you frequently wishing you were there. "I wish you were here" is more like at a certain moment rather than all the time.
Honestly both are cute and romantic it's hard to say which one is more.. but I feel I miss you holds more weight.. I do see how "I wish you were here" could be more romantic though.. just depends how it's said and what kind of relationship you have with that individual.

I miss you is less but more realistic if nothing romantic could happen if you were there.
Wish you were here ... so romantic things would spark is more ... for it suggests it's only the miles that separate romantic situations and adventures to share in memories to come
Well I miss you is more like I want you to be here and have fun with you, doesn't always have a sexual connotation.
But if I say How I wish you were here, probably means I wanna make love to you and you're not there ^^.
So "I miss you" ->Friendly and sweet
"How I wish you were here" -> Sweet and sexual(depending)
the first one definitely is more romantic. and the " I miss you" is more just friends like. Cause I tell my female BFF that " I miss her" when its been awhile sinse we hung out, cause a love it when I'm around her and look forward to it every time with excitement. So I do sincerely miss her, otherwise I wouldn't say it.
i miss you means they just want to be with you <-- more romantic in my opinion
i wish you were here would mean that they want to experience it with you
i miss you is short and simple 'difference' no confusion gr8 combination hence that is better
