Why does he stare at me so intense....?

there is this boy at my school and he knows I like him well anyways we always stare at each other and he always stares at me. Like at school we will be in the courtyard with my friends and he will be with his friends and were on the other side of the courtyard as them and he will stare at me and then when I look at him he will look away really fast. But at other times he will hold the look. Also when he stares at me he does not smile. But he does not look mad earthier. Then at lunch I will be in the lunch line and he will be at his lunch table witch is diagonal from the line and he will be standing at the end of the table and he will look at me and then I look at him and we stare into each others eyes from the distance for 10 seconds. Also he will watch me walk around and stuff. And he watches me with my friends and as I said sometimes he will hold the gaze and other times he will look away so why does he do this thanks?

guys stare at girls they like ... why is that so hard for a girl to understand why don't you go over to him and tell him something like "stop staring" or if you might like him ask for his phone number and or say something nice to him and call him and be his girlfriend ... that what we guys want DUH LOL
