Guys: Do you have to approach her the second time you see her?

Let's say you approach a girl at your campus and the interaction goes well. Do you have to approach her again the next time you see her, or do you find that she is waiting for you to approach her?

I'm not exactly sure the question is clear here. However, if you're referring to having met a girl and upon seeing her again, I think it's probably a mutual thing at that point if the first introduction went well. Upon seeing her again, I'll get her attention, say "Hey, what's up?" or whatever, and then go right into conversation. I think once that initial contact is made, I don't even refer to it as approaching again.

I don't think I can clarify my question any better. Before finding this site I always thought that, if a girl were interested, she would talk to me (she would start the conversation) the next day ...a lot of them never did, although they were clearly waiting for me (in retrospect) to begin the conversation (nota bene, I had, the day before, talked to them)

Ah, yeah that clarifies things a bit for me in my mind. I think I've found that girls exist on both sides of that spectrum. Sometimes a girl will come up to me the next day as if we were already good friends. Sometimes, I have to seek them out.

If you approach a girl without being direct or conspicuous about what your intent is, then the chances are high that she'll be unsettled about if you were just being friendly or wanted to get to know her. Approaching a girl the second time can assure her that you're interested in her, and I think that most girls like to be approached(by a guy they're into of course), some feel it's the proper way of courting.

A mild approach would be nice. Even if you have to do it the third time, then if she doesn't respond, you can guess that you might want to move on. But it's nice to see a man gently be saying hello, how's it going! Even start up a conversation. And just be easy with it. and have fun!

It depends on the guy and the girl of course but not always, sometimes we over think things, get all nervous and anxious, trip over are selves and know we'll look like a complete idiot.. so we walk away. lol
