Girls showering together?

My bff wants to shower with me. She says it's normal because she showers with some of her bffs also. I was wondering, is this normal? How many other girls here would shower together?

Well it can be accepted in many cultures today, a Japanese man can shower with his entire family in the same room, and they can even shower with their girlfriends mother, and it's not looked at like it's strange at all.

But in a culture like America they're too selfish and private to shower together because it's looked at as if it's strange. You don't see bath houses here, and people washing yours backs together. It's all alone after you become old enough to wash yourself, and usually parents leave you alone after a certain point, because they don't think it's normal you anymore. even though they've washed you when you were younger.

you can also think about it this way. you don't have to read this part if you want to. Most of the people are uncomfortable with their mortality. the reason why people reproduce is because they know they're going to die one day. They don't want to be reminded of sexual things, because it also reminds them of death, and when that time comes they're not ready for it. They pass out before they can fully experience what death feels like.

Frankly speaking it depends on what kind of a person you are some people believe that there shouldn't be hidden between bffs while others believe that its invasion of privacy and not decent to strip in front of anyone except your spouse

Btw why does she wants to shower with you is it because there's a time management problem if that's the case then I would say its okay to do it but if its because of her sexual preferences then ask yourself if you have the same mindset as hers if the answers yes then I don't see a reason why shouldn't you

i used to do this sort of things with friends before puberty but now...its not really "normal". woman need their privacy, plus it's crowded.

It even stranger/suspicious that she is pressing it and really requesting that you do it. It's just a shower, why does she need you to be there?

If she was a good friend she's understand you don't want to.

That would be very weird. I would question why she would like to do that? The intentions behind it can't be as harmless as she's making it seem.

Dunno - I've sat in a jacuzzi naked with some friends, but the bubbles hide everything so it was just casual nakedness :P

But a shower? That seems really strange.

Ok, here's a comment from a more mature guy then.

My girlfriend takes showers with her female friends at the gym, etc, in large communal showers and from what I'm told they are all naked so it appears that for you girls it's not such a big deal.

For her to specifically ask for this to happen leads me to think there is an ulterior motive, she may be curious or she might thinks that's it's something intimate and personal that she's shared with others and feels it's something she should share with you too.

If your in a situation where it happens such as communial showers then fair enough but for her to ask you to go out of your way for it to happen does seem a little strange.

I think you should be happy that your a female, because as a guy if my best friend asked to do this I would be seriously worried!

I've showered with a few of my best friends. So sounds normal to me. We're all straight as can be. It normally happens when there's like two showers and four girls after going to the river or something and we just feel gross. None my friends or I care. We're all girls with same stuff that just want to smell good again.

she might want to see you naked, I would only get in the shower with her if you want to test your sexuality, or even just have a bit of fun,

That does not sound normal to me. I wouldn't shower with naked guys and I can't imagine girls showering with each other...it'll tend to get sexual.

I think it's normal I shower with my bffls and were all completely straight. So you should do what ever makes you comfortable :)
