How to know if a geeky shy guy likes you?

Is see him everyday in the library somehow I feel conneected to him. He's really shy we've had a lot of eye contact in the library, but when I meet him in the hallway he'll look away or even turn around :(

Should I just go sit next to him and ask if he wants to have a drink with me?

Do they in general even like girlie girls? Because actually I'm a kind of geek myself but it don't really look like a typical geeky girl... Because I'm more a girlie geeky girl :)

I'm one of those kind of geeky guys, so trust me, just sit down next to him, and ask him, he might say yes, and if he says no its because he's REALLY SHY. he may not respond the best to forewardness like that. show him your'e geeky too! strike up a conversation about something like star wars, or video games, or even just intelligent conversation! a pretty, intelligent, geeky girl is a nerdy/geeky guys DREAM!
